Georg Jensen Bernadotte Stainless Steel Cake Spade, 10014956.
Inspired by riffled lines from the Art Deco period of the 1930s, the Bernadotte collection was originally launched in 1938 and designed by Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte. He was heavily influenced by the functionalist movement, and his sleek and sparingly-decorated style modernised the world of silver while also placing him as one of the most successful Georg Jensen-collaborators ever.
A wonderful cake deserves to be enjoyed and served in style. The Bernadotte cake spade brings a notable and elegant touch to the table – and your cake. Its fluted shaft is inspired by the Functionalist movement of the 1930s, and the organic shape of the blade points back to heritage Georg Jensen designs. The Bernadotte collection was created by Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, and the first cutlery pieces were released in 1938. Ever since then the collection has been extended with new additions, and it remains one of the most successful and popular collaborations in the history of Georg Jensen. The Bernadotte cake spade is made from stainless steel.
Dimensions: 225mm long.
