The Clogau brand was first brought to life when a local Welshman named William Roberts made an exciting discovery in the rural mountains of Snowdonia. Roberts was able to extract a stockpile of rare Welsh gold that was then used exclusively to create the jewellery that founded the Clogau brand. Hampton Court Palace was the heart of the Tudor Court and the home of King Henry VIII. Our Tudor Court collection is inspired by the intricate carvings on Anne Boleyn’s Gateway, a lasting reminder of this compelling love story. These 925 silver and 9ct rose gold earrings contain rare Welsh gold and freshwater pearl. The intricate detailing represents the carvings made by two lovers nearly 500 years ago.
